I ordered the SSP New AD 1600 TP engine from Retrodubs on the 9th September and it finally arrived on the 17th October.
The delays where the supply & demand and also a manufacturing issue on an earlier batch of engines having a recall (at least they recall when they find problems)
I took Thursday and Friday off work to give me a good time to build up fit and run the engine.
The engine packaged well and on a pallet.
After getting it in the "GarTent" (Garage Tent) and took some photos of the engine. Overall impressions is that its well built and looks they have taken care in the build and all bolts have been marked after torqued up.
Then had to maneuver the engine onto the ATV jack / engine build platform. Easy enough and getting good at moving and engine around on my own. At least the jack and pallet were around the same height to drag it on.
